Just breathless

EDIT:// 8:45pm, same day
----

Oh, I'm so good. Finished all my homework when I certainly didn't expect to, and even watched The Other Boleyn Girl again. Oh yeeess, I'm very good. Now I read "Buried" or "The Boy Book." And if I'm at all lucky, I'll get to read "The Constant Princess," another book by Philippa Gregory... amazing woman!!! Okay, off to read (save the world? Read? Which wil I do!?) Toooodle-ooodles.

----

Finally finished The Other Boleyn Girl. Omgosh, so good. Amazing.

Was at the mall yesterday where I was desperate to buy The Other Boleyn Girl on DVD, and so I bought it and it was mine (even though I'd already watched the whole film online already). Then I wanted to buy the book even though I already had the it checked out from the library and with me at home but still... I like to own the books I like... LOLS. So I saw it at Black Bonds but anyway, I didn't buy it, I controlled myself quite well I think, considering how bad I wanted it to be mine. But I still got the movie, watched it last night again and it was SO good. Anne Boleyn ftw. And I highly recommend the book and movie to anybody... yes, it's that awesome.

Ummm, Bio homework still, and French homework still. I am a horrible procrastinator, booo.

FR
  • Apology letter
  • Objet-souvenir brouillon
  • Bring menu

BIO

  • Lame w/s with textbook work

Et c'est tout pour maintenant, je pense... Um, yeah, I'm off to stop procrastinating and then save the world, which I don't know why I bother to do, LOLS. Goooooodbye.

She never had to be alone

The Other Boleyn Girl... pretty freaking awesome book... and I'm not even finished it yet. Go read it :) Riiiight now. Seriously. It's on my Favourite Book List now, without even finishing it. That's how awesome it is. So my Favourite Book List is now at this (in no particular order):

  • Forgotten Fire (SO SAD!)
  • Guardians of Time Trilogy (OMGOSH AMAZING!)
  • Harry Potter series (self explanatory... a CRAZY adventure, no lie)
  • To Kill A Mockingbird (honestly one of the best books I've read in my entire life)
  • Aimee (creative as hell, all I gotta say)
  • Percy Jackson & The Olympian series (hilarious, totally adventurous)
  • Gallagher Series (MY DREAM SCHOOL)
  • Feeling Sorry For Celia (witty as heck)
  • Zipped (perfectly serious)
  • Walking Naked (witty, witty, witty)
  • Losing Forever (great story, put plainly)
  • Things Not Seen (crazy creative)
  • The Other Boleyn Girl (JUST, PLAIN, AWESOME)

It's long, I know. But of a gajillion books, those are honestly the best, and as narrowed as I could put it. I suggest that you read any and all of them. They are completely and totally worth your time and money... although of those twelve books I only own some of the Percy Jackson & Gallagher Girl series and all of HP. Ugh, that's probably my new Christmas List :P

Went to the "Woman, Idiot, Lunatic, Criminal" performance during Block C (no Math, Thank God!) and it was actually a good performance. Women ftw! And great music and acting, especially when it came to the DJing and scratching. Great, great play.

Classification and Taxonomy Unit Test in Bio... omgoodness... I'm an idiot to the umpteeenth degree. What is the largest category with most ogranisms? Well, it's not GENUS, which is what I answered, gosh darn it! It's KINGDOM, Gelina, you KNEW that but you put GENUS? UGH, dumb me :( And which of these is a vertebrate? A flatworm or a frog? FROG, GELINA. FROG. NOT A FLATWORM. Omgoodness, idiot me. And which of the five kindgoms is procaryotic!? MONERA, GELINA. Which I knew and correctly answered, but still. I actually had trouble answering that on the test. Screw. Me. LOLS.

Kim's house after school, did some party planning... uh... more details later. LOLS. It's not completely for sure how we'll go about it but we've got the important details... check your Facebook later this week for more info, LOLS. Got a migraine at her place though, no idea why, it just came and went and then came and went.

Went straight to DBYC at like 6:30 and gave my share... about this. LOLS. Shoutout to the kids I gave my share to. That's right, 100% pure speech! GOD FTW! :)

So, so, so mad (yes, a tad bit of complaining, geez, sorry :P). Called Genina a "dumbie" in French today and Madame Young is now forcing me to write a French written apology letter... to my OWN TWIN, whom I call worse at home? Honestly, worser words have passed in her own classroom, RIGHT in front of her, and she never made anyone else write an apology letter. It's 'cause I'm a twin, isn't it? That's a harsh teasing factor. Lord, it was a term of ENDEARMENT. There's nothing wrong with that. Goodness, I'm so mad about that. Plus I just got my mark for that class and I'm utterly offended. I have never gotten a mark that low in French in my entire life. What's happening?

  • FR - 91% (disappointing)
  • BIO - 92% (fair)
  • MA - 78% (why do I suck at Math?)
  • PE - n/a (marks haven't been distributed yet)

Seriously right now? A 91% this year? From previously having a 99 and 101% in Grade 10? Because I was absent on the day of an oral due to an orthodontist appointment? FUDGE. Now I have to make it up after school, where I also have to write my own twin an apology letter for calling her a "dumbie." Goodness, how is this fair at all?

Professional Day tomorrow, what will I do? HSM3? Sleep in and do my Bio homework? Save the world? What to do, what to do. Movies, work, or the world? I guess we must wait and see! Toodle-oodles for now!

Tried to walk away

Bonjour mes amis! I say my greetings in French because I am about to work on my Qui suis-je after I'm done with this. That was my little exercise ;)

Came back from Downtown an hour ago from the orthodontist, and they've put me on clear retainers for my upper teeth and this funky little thing at the front of my bottom teeth and bicuspods... well, anyway, it's super funky and weird when I talk, and they told me to practice by reading out loud, and that is definitely not a problem with me :P Speaking of reading, I'm not even half way through in The Other Boleyn Girl, but I'm saying it right now this book is AWESOME. So, so, so good. I wish I'd read this book ages ago, it's kinda crazy. Go read it! :)

Sooo yeah, yesterday was a scramble of What-First-To-Do. I had to study for my Bio quiz (14/15, btw - stupid Phylums!!) and then study for my Maths test (result still to come) which I probably did not do so well on but from the looks of it I certainly didn't fail (sheesh, I bet I just jinxed myeself right there). And then there was my Dichotomous Key for Biology (we're getting things packed on with our homework in that class... wtheck) which I finished that day yesterday, and, of course, there was my French, Qui suis-je. And no, I haven't started it. It is definitely the least of my worries. But as I said... I AM going to start. After this. When I get off my lazy butt. Now my homework pile stands at this:

BIO

  • Review w/s
  • UNIT TEST Thurs (already!? We literally just had one a little over a week ago!

FR

  • Qui suis-je?

And that happens to be it. Thank goodness. If I had more to do, I'd be dying, and you'd have nobody to save the world!

On Friday, my Halloween plans seemed to be cancelled and replanned at first, but then they came back on except modified, so now my former plan is back on, and the plan I had made in it's place is now cancelled. Right, dunno how that works out, but it does!

I have to do my homework. SO bad. But I'd much rather be reading The Other Boleyn Girl :( Between a bullet and a target, I tell you!

Tomorrow I tutor for two hours in the library... sixteen dollars, here I come!

Re: Apply to many places (:

Btw, the Bio test I was talking about in previous posts, I got the mark back. No good. LOLS.

Going to save the world! Goodbye!

They don't love you like I love you

I'm the biggest procrastinator. Why the heck won't I start my French? Or finish my stinking Math? I'm screwing myself over by not working. UGH. I don't want to do anything :( And I need to apply to a bunch of different places still. AUGH :(

On a random note, down with Browen! One of the worst couples in TV history. Down with the stink!

Need to get off my butt and do something. DO something, ANYthing. Even read. Why don't I read, gosh darn it!? I'm a dumbie.

Update on my grades... I haven't got all my marks yet though, just two classes. Math is killing me. Biggest B in the world.

FR - n/a
BIO - 92%
MA - 78% :( :( :( But that's a B... more than I could possibly ask for, as I truly suck at Math
PE - n/a

My Bio mark is also more than I could possibly ask for... going into that class I totally thought I wouldn't pull off even a solid B. But there you have it. I need to work way harder though : What's the matter with me? Why am I so lazy all of a sudden? UGH, get to work, get to work, get to work.

I have to work. Save the world. Work. Stop being lazy. Save the world. Just get over it and do what I have to do. UGH :(

Everybody make a scene

I just went Halloween costume hunting and I found the perfect accessories to go with my Marie Antoinette/Masquerade costume. For those of you wondering, I plan on being both, as I can't decide, and my costume can pass off for both (Marie Antoinette not so much since I couldn't find a proper wig to go with it). Anyway, I found a silver sequined eye mask and these white aristocrat gloves, which go nice with the dress I have prepared for it. I just need to find something else now that will make my costume look less tacky (because sequins are kind of tacky). Genina found these perfect stripped leggings for her rag doll costume too. So today was a good day to costume hunt.

On some very important news - my braces came off yesterday! Want to see my smile? Too bad!

Interim Report cards also came out yesterday, and thankfully, I am once again a Supergee. Sound dorky? Yes. But a good thing? Yes :P Besides, who isn't a Supergee these days? I also got good comments, but then again, who doesn't? Anyway.

Went to the Gas Station with my Mum to fill 'er up, and it was Customer Appreciaton Day! It was their one year anniversary of having opened up the station so all the customers got a hotdog, samosa, a corndog, two bags of candy, a notepad, and a chocolate bar. So I mooched off of all that stuff and was very grateful for the tummy fill ;)

Older sister just called - she got me an application form at Future Shop!? NO WAY! So guess who's gonna try there very hardest to get a job there!? MOI :) Super duper yay there. I need to also remind myself to apply at Zellers, Pricesmart, and Walmart. Ughhhh.

Okay, off to go show off my costume to my older sister when she comes home... or to save the world. Your pick once again. But if I were you, I'd pick save the world. Because I will, when I've got the time ;)

& It's calling all the time

*Drum roll please*

Gelina is using her older sister's freaking laptop! :D YAY! And it's sleek. I think that I'll get a laptop of my own, except nicer. And cheaper. Better price. I'm Filipino. I'll go for a discount 'cause it's in my blood... :)

So I woke up at 6:30 today, left the house at 7:00am and didn't come home until 7:00pm. I tutored for two hours after school, bogus. I think I should start shamelessly plugging myself to all the younger French classes so that I can get more tutees. I feel so useless in that library, and I feel bad that I'm getting paid for not doing anything : But anyway. I've spent a total of 9 hours after school so far in tutoring, times that by 8, and I've made 72 dollars. Owned. Well, not really. 72 dollars in two months? That's actually kind of sad. But it's all I've got!

The Unit Test in Bio today was half bogus, I swear. Stupid multiple choice questions. I studied evenly for both the multiple choice, fill in the blanks, AND the written, and the easiest part for me, was the written, and I thought that would be hardest. The MC and fill in the blanks, I didn't even know half of them. How the heck am I supposed to remember allelic crud? I don't re-learn that stuff again till Grade 12 Bio, which I'm harsh not taking. After this year, I am harsh done with Maths and Sciences. Languages and History ftw!

Alright, I've gone long enough, and I feel like this post is now a gajillion pages. I'm off to save the world (maybe, I could just be going to bed and pretending to save the world, your pick). Goodnight!

The night that I will fall for you

Before I fill this blog up with my days events, here is a wonderful and merry wish to you all for a

Happy Thanksgiving!
(No matter how late it is in the day!)

Right, now that that's over with!

Once again an uneventful day. Well, I did go to an oriental buffet with the fam today (minus old sis), and my love for tater tots has reawakened in me! I only took like 10 then though, when I should have taken the whole tray. But I stuffed myself with lots and lots of chinese food, which pleases me. Not to mention the dessert. Gotta love jello and swirly looking bakery :D

After we ate we went straight to the mall where, as a Thanksgiving Present (YES, a Thanksgiving present - Thanksgiving should be a GIVING holiday...!) I had (or begged, however you want to put it) Genina to buy me a mug from Blackbonds. And it's an awesome mug. It's a Shakespeare mug with a quote on it. And she also bought herself one, it's a Jane Austen mug. Although I do like Jane Austen more than Shakespeare, his quote was better. And this just reminds me that I've memorized lines from both Shakespeare and Jane Austen's works... oh, I feel a monolgue coming!

From Shakespeare's ''A Midsummer Nights Dream"
Sleep sound, on the
ground
To your eye, I will apply
Gentle lover's remedy
And when thou
wakest, thou takest
True delight in thy former lover's eye
Blah, blah,
blah.
Now from Jane Austen's lovely "Pride & Prejudice:"

It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in posession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife.
Ah, didn't that feel good? I certainly think it did!

And now I have to go, because I still have to study for my Unit 2 Test in Biology, which is on... Wednesday. I'd go over what I just learned but it would make this blog extremely long, and I certainly don't want to make it that long! And besides, I can still do that tomorrow ;)

Off to save the world, once again. Goodness, what would this world be without me?

Drop the top & just drive

I'm currently back into my musicals/broadway obsession, and I'm very glad for this! It feels like I haven't listened to Jane Eyre in forever, and it kind of has been. Right now I've got the Legally Blonde balad from the Legally Blonde musical stuck in my head. Omgoodness, wonderful songs.

So my parents just bought a laptop yesterday, and surprised me and my sister with it in the morning today (even though it's for my older sister). Can I just say, I'll buy my own laptop! And it'll be nicer, thinner and of a better brand! Although Toshiba's not that bad.

Now I'm just finishing my homework, and tomorrow it'll be Turkey day and I'm going to eat out at the Flamingo with the fam, and I will be bloated! Oh, and I'll finally satisfy my Chinese Food craving. Sweet and Sour pork, here I come! Thank goodness, no school tomorrow too!

Homework to finish:
BIO - Amniote drawing (just have to color)
- HARSH STUDY FOR UNIT 2 TEST
FR - Kiosk stuff. Lame, random stuff.

And c'est tout pour maintenant!

Now, I leave you to save the world, and with a duet of the Legally Blonde Ballad I've got stuck in my head. Enjoy!

Chinese Food

First blog, somewhat. The one before this shouldn't count!

I'm really craving chinese food right now. Auuggh.

Stuff to do, not much to say. I guess I have to save the world later! Toodles!

TESTING

Testing, testing. Can anybody hear me? :)
