Turns me to gold in the sunlight

HIIIIIIIIIII :)

This entry is made with merry thoughts, for that is the current season! Christmas tiiiiiiiime :D I'm in such the giving mood, all I've been doing is shopping for presents and then wrapping them up :D I think I've done good in the "giving" aspect of Christmas so far, my friends, siblings and teachers should all be quite happy with me. I enjoy shopping for others, sadly 8)

School being over is as good as a present however. I have been beyond sleepy for the last two weeks of school, and I know I know, all my fault. I spend too much time on my homework, sleep hella late and wake up uber early. And then I sleep during class and blah blah :( Or at least when I can get away with it. Can't really afford to sleep during English Honours, agh. And it figures I've got homework in that class, the only class in which I've got any homework. But it's pretty simple, it's great actually. I have to read The Book of Negroes in the two weeks of break, finish it before I get back to school. We were allowed to choose the book we wanted to read for the independent novel study, and I was very very torn between that and Snow Falling on Cedars. But I read the first bit of The Book of Negroes and I didn't think I'd enjoy the mystery/romance aspect of Snow Falling on Cedars, plus Genina picked that book so I could always get a second opinion from her and read it later. I was also torn with Wuthering Heights, but I remembered that I own Wuthering Heights and can read it whenever the heck I want. So Book of Negroes it was!

My Mom bought the family a Wii, FINALLY. And already I'm pretty obsessed with it. I messed up my arm though, it hasn't stopped being sore for a few days now, 'cause I keep on waving my arm like a maniac when I play the games :( My arm seriously kills sometimes. Simple movements or lifting of moderately weighted things is pretty killer, but I gotta suck it up and learn how to not over-exert my dang arm when I'm playing those darn obsessive games!

That has reminded me of my Christmas list for some reason. I REALLY DON'T WANT THESE THINGS TOO BADLY, and if you're smart you don't give me anything 'cause I don't deserve anything. Save your money! But, besides books (that is pretty much a given any year, I'll read ANYTHING as long as it's not something written by some celebrity wanna-be author like Miley Cyrus or a how-to book) this is what you COULD get me (be warned, this list is uber short and uber dorky):

Christmas List 2009
  • Board games (mind stimulating ones, like Cranium! Or the fun ones like The Game of Life and Monopoly! OR GUESS WHO! OR CLUE! Omg I love board games)
  • Yu-Gi-Oh cards (or Digimon, Pokemon or Magic the Gathering Cards or Star Wars cards) I would like to expand my huge collections, BWAHA!
  • A lot of post-its (I think my English teacher was right about using post its when reading novels... you need to remember your place in a book, memorable quotes or particular parts using particular literary devices... post its are cheap and useful!!)
  • SHARPIES! The thick kinds. Some packs are small with like 5 basic colours and some are huge with like 12 different colours but the five pack would do just fine.

Aaaaaaaaaand that's it. Yeah, pretty short. And yes, I know, very dorky. But shutup. I'm trying not to indulge too much this year, I'm still trying to do a penance for losing my wallet. Augh. I really don't deserve any presents this year, do I :(

OMG I DO WANT WII GAMES TOO BTW. Bu those are expensive, so nevermind.

Oh and I do want a charm my phone :( Gotsa personalize it a little bit.

And the movie version of To Kill a Mockingbird :DDDDDDD I seriously would like to own the film versions of my favourite books.

OH AND WINTER CLOTHING TOO. Or even just nice regular clothes :)

AUGH I HAVE TO STOP INDULGING SO MUCH. Ignore all of those. Those are not part of the main list. IGNORE THEM, IGNORE THEM, IGNORE THEM.

I'm gonna go now before my fingers go beyond my control and start typing everything I want. I HOPE EVERYONE'S HAVING A GOOD HOLIDAY SO FAR AND MERRY CHRISTMAS :D Be safe and happy with the ones you love!

Yours truly and wishing I was with you ('cause if you're reading this you probs know me and your probs a friend of mine :D),

This for the girls who got their own

I am feeling extremely sore right now, absolutely everywhere, and I mean it! Arms, shoulders, LEGS, every motor limb I've got is honestly aching. But I guess I can't complain, I brought it upon myself! 'Cause guess what folks! SENIOR SNOWBALL ON THURSDAY GAVE EVERBODY SORE EVERYTHING :) But it was totally worth it. I'm soooo glad it was a success (despite some avoidable drama on my part and others) and that it did in fact own every Snowball I've ever been too, GLOW as well! My night was honestly made at the beginning of that dance :) :) :) SO MADE. Ugh. I really had one of the best nights ever, and my sore limbs are a small consequence. Need more dances like that 8)

I'm feeling really lazy right now 'cause I'll I've done for the past few days is go out or chiiiiiill. I should be doing my homework but I finished all of it during spare on Friday and only have to read a few pages in Grapes of Wrath for EngH. I actually hate when I have free time and I do unproductive things, 'cause then I feel like I'm wasting my time. I like it better when I have MODERATE AMOUNTS OF HOMEWORK, and then I feel accomplished and productive. Maybe I should just read ahead in GOW... that could be an uber good idea.

So Amanjyot, Genina and I walked to Kim's yesterday after school and had a veeery girl-centric night. Even Donald thinks so, and it wasn't even meant to be. We baked THE BEST CAKE EVER. Like, the cake to own all cakes, really. We watched John Tucker Must Die because it was the only movie Genina approved of that Kim owned (party pooper - Doe thinks that this was particularily girlie). And then we watched a Disney special on TV, which really really made me miss being five :( And then after that I went crazy on Kim's Wii 'cause WE WERE ALWAYS REALLY CLOSE WITH EACH GAME WE PLAYED. Kim won basketball by one stinking point, and I won the speedracing!! Badminton was pretty close as well, which really irritates me. And then beach volleyball we were practically screaming for the win and even though Kimbo beat me IN THE FIRST SET, I WON THE SECOND SET BY A LONG SHOT! EVEN THOUGH SHE CAUGHT UP TO ME A LITTLE BIT WHEN I WAS AT GAME POINT. That's actually pretty pathetic, BUT STILL. Ooooh if I get the chance to practice more, I know I could own her.

But that was a really good day :) :) :) :) Snowball too. Just two very, very, very good days. NEED MORE GOOD DAYS PLEASE :)

I think I'll attempt to do something productive. Read, clean, read... Maybe I'll just clean a little and do a lot of reading :D That sounds like a very good idea.

Au revoir mon amie!
