Lost and insecure, you found me

So I wasn't too fond of it at first but You Found Me by The Fray... preeetty darn good song... go listen :) I'm choked I can't update my iPod with this song since my iTunes is being sooo messed up... must resort to Youtube :( But anyway.

I registered yesterday afternoon for one of Trinity Western's Preview Weekends, and it has an awesome schedule for prospective students who plan on staying overnight. Check it out:

Friday -
8:15am – Registration
9:00am – Opening Welcome from TWU President Dr. Jonathan Raymond
9:45am - Student and Parent Breakout Sessions
11:00am – Chapel
11:30am – Campus Tours
12:45pm – Lunch
1:30pm – Academic Program Fair
2:40pm - Optional Tours: Residence Halls, Collegiums, Science labs, School of Business, Ecosystem Study Area
3:25pm - Optional Tours: Residence Halls, Collegiums, Science labs
4:15pm – Attend a lecture
5:00pm – Students: Meet up with overnight host
5:30pm – Dinner
8:00pm – TWU Men's basketball vs. SFU
8:00pm - TWU Theatre production of "Tartuffe"
10:00pm - Movie: The Incredible Hulk

And that's just their Friday! On Saturday we get to attend our choice of three workshops (I already know which three I'm taking) and it's all free! Can you imagine what a great time I'll have? I really can't wait. I registered for the March 20-21st dates, because I didn't feel like going up there on Valentine's Day in case I had plans, and the 20-21st are dates over Spring Break, I think. I may as well also head to UBC for a tour over there afterwards. I really want to make an informed decision about which school I want to go to after high school, and right now, it really is just a choice between TWU and UBC, both with their pros and cons. I can tell you all right now though, if I got accepted into both, I would be completely torn. The only solution would be if one of them turned me down, but I don't want that :P Sooo I'm scheduling my campus tours for both Universities next year, so that when Grade 12 comes around I won't be scrambling with fifty million different application forms to a million different schools. Of course I'll have my back ups, but the main two are UBC and TWU. And yep, still torn.

I can't wait till Christmas. The house looks very seasonal! The Christmas tree and fireplace are decorated so prettily, I really want to upload a picture of it and put it up... you should see the presents under the tree. We've certainly got more than a couple down there, it's amazing, LOL. My Mom certainly went all out this year! <3

Yes, this break, I have Biology homework. Can you believe it? After four months of work, Ms Phan couldn't give us a two week break of Biology. SHE has been giving me the most homework out of ALL my classes, Math included, and that's just stupid sounding. It's biology, what is there I've got to work hours and hours upon? Math I would understand if given a bunch of homework in that class, it's a graduation requirement - but Biology? You're NOTHING. So I really, truly don't understand the amount of homework given out in that class. It's absolutely ridiculous. And Ms Phan, change your fucking marking method, you give me shitty test scores, even when I DO study. God, I don't know why I try so hard in that class, really.

I need second semester NOOW. I get some time to slack off. Easy courses next sem anyways. Socials, French 12, Peer Tutoring, Eng H. That is complete and utterrrrr cake. There should be no reason for me not to have straight As in that semester... unless things just really truly get hard, then I'll have to make myself understand that I can't always be smart.

It's 2:01am right now, and I'm wide awake. I do nooooot feel like going to bed right now.

Two more days till Christmas though! Can you believe it? After today, it'll be Christmas Eve, and then voila! Christmas! This is going to be grrrreat :D

I better be off. I can sense Genina fidgeting in her bed 'cause of the light coming from the laptop, and I'm disturbing her. I gotta gooo before she bleeeps me out :P
