I'd be so good to you
BOOM.
Hollaaaaaaa.
Time for my monthly post. I dunno if this will be brief (probs not, knowing me, hahaha) 'cause I have a midterm to study for, but I think I deserve a break, as I studied for three hours and then wrote a History paper. So yes. This break, I need indeed.
It's the month of October peoples!!! Know what that means? ORANGE LEAVES, THANKSGIVING AND HALLOWEEN :) Alright, Thanksgiving has come and gone, but we still have to look forward to Halloweeen! OH OH OH, AND WE'RE LESS THAN ONE MONTH AWAY UNTIL THE HARRY POTTER 7 MIDNIGHT RELEASE :) Are you psyched or are you psyched!? 'CAUSE I AM! Speaking of Harry Potter and Halloween, I'm gonna be a....... DRUMM ROLL PLEASE.............
RAVENCLAW STUDENT. WOOT WOOT. And I'll never change costumes again once I find everything I need. The blue scarf, blue tie, Ravenclaw badge... I'm gonna be the realest Cho Chang y'all will ever meet. Not to mention that this will be the costume I wear on the midnight premiere of the first half of the Harry Potter movie!! Honestly, my life will honestly be complete that night. Can't even EXPLAIN or DESCRIBE the true depth of my excitement and Harry Potter love. It's on my mind all day, and I think about the trio all the time, and I wish my life were anything like the wizarding world, even a little bit. Sigh. I just can't wait. Not to mention!!! I totally am on the last leg of my Harry Potter book marathon, and I completely plan on finishing the 7th book the night before the midnight premiere, AS WELL AS finish my movie marathon of the HP films, which will commence a week before the midnight release as well. The last day of my movie marathon will be the day of the release itself!! BOOM! IT'S MY VERY OWN HARRY POTTER WEEK OF MADDDDDDDNESS :D Woooo! Hahaahaha.
Okay, enough about HP. Onto my second obsession, school! Which is going as well as I could hope for. Shall I drum roll the good news? Alright, I shall. I submitted my first official university paper (although it WAS a short paper of four pages, it still was my first official paper), and I got it back last week. Guess what I got!?!?! Not the C I was expecting! Nor the C-, or the C+, or the B- or B!!!!! I GOT A B FREAKING PLUS! A freaking B+!!!!!!!!!! Which, for all my reasoning, is practically an A, because y'know what? An A in university is soooo unattainable, especially on your very first few papers, so when you get a B, not to mention a B+, it just blows you away, and you consider it to be an A. And realistically, in high school standards, a B+ paper in university is a definitely a high 90% essay in high school. Which is still a thought that makes me happy. Because my mind is stuck on high school, of course :P
Alright, so! I've honestly got very little on my mind right now - well, that's not true, because my mind is currently wandering in the direction of homework and midterms and I'm honest to goodness typing this absent-mindedly as one eye is on the television watching "Life Unexpected" and the other is looking at this, searching for spelling and grammatical errors :P
So many things to look forward to in the coming weeks, months, whatever! Halloween (in which I OF COURSE plan to trick or treat with mes amies), the release of the HP7 movie, my first semester in university EVER ending in December, my best friend's birthday, two debuts, Christmas!!!! Aw man, looking ahead, as ever, to the good stuff :D I hope you do too!
Sorry for the far apart posts, not like many of you read this anyway! :P
Post dedicated to Dave Cordoviz just because :) Hahahaha.
YOURS TRULY,
GELINA S.
