15's almost gone, turn it on
Hellooooo.
So yeah. Hum, don't know where to start off first!
I lost my wallet last Thursday, except I didn't find out until Friday.... I've looked absolutely everywhere. I'm kind of grounded because of this, but my parents have been surprisingly kind about the whole thing, so I can't really push my luck and keep on asking to go out like usual, so right now my activities are on temporary hold :( Which means no Fright Night, no party, just my actual Halloween plans. But I guess that's okay. I don't have to spend money on my Fright Night ticket 'cause I should save, and there will be other parties :'( But at least I still have Halloween Day. *Think positive!*
So all my advertisements for the Halloween Dance on my last post are useless. I never mentioned that the Admin at the school didn't approve the date because 1) we wouldn't have the necessary security available that day such as our lady constable who is for some reason always present around the school grounds but can't stay late on a freaking Thursday night! And 2) We don't have enough teacher supervision available for that night. The date they HAVE approved however, with the necessary security and supervision, is Nov. 5th. But really.... who wants to have a Halloween Dance AFTER Halloween? That's lame. BUT. Us Grads came up with a whole new, better, and way more fun Dance, with its own crazier theme!
STUDENTS OF GUILDFORD PARK, GRAD COUNCIL PRESENTS TO YOU: GLOW!
- All grades dance on Thursday Nov. 5th, 2009
- Starts 6:30 - 9:00pm
- Tickets are 8 dollars at the Sabres Den at Lunch
- All school rules in effect
- WEAR SOMETHING WHITE, 'CAUSE IT'S BLACKLIGHT BABY :)
And I promise, this one's gonna be the bomb... the Halloween Dance MAY have been iffy due to the difficulty that comes with dancing in a costume, but now this one's like, all out wear whatever you want and glow in it too ;) Woot!
Volunteered for Junior Movie night on Tuesday and it was LG and LB Mania.... I realize that they were watching a Haunting in Connecticut and I was screaming pretty loud myself but dude, you could just tell, some of them were just freaking out for the attention. Dear LGs and LBs.... please grow up. You annoy me. HOWEVER. Thanks for coming and supporting your GP Grads 'cause we raised 350 easy buckaroos! You kiddos rock.
And I gotta say we're not doing horribly for raising funds.... only 9 kids haven't returned their chocolate money out of maybe 30 kids who took them? And we've sold a lot of Canuck raffle tickets, and we're doing pretty good at the Sabres Den with selling these LOW FAT ICE CREAM BARS and popcorn... but yeah. I really hope it keeps on coming 'cause jeez, we need that money and I have no shame in hustling, HAHA.
Homework is as follows (though I've finished all of my Law and Lit):
ENG H
- "The Crucible" Pre-write
- "The Crucible" Essay (long ass and difficult topic on conscience. It's like... ugh. Whatever.)
- Final Response Journal (finished this in spare!)
LAW
- p. 135 #1-3 (finished it during class discussion 'cause I was hella bored and not paying attention)
LIT
- Act II Scene i paraphrase (done in class)
- Read Act II Scene ii (done in class)
So really..... all I have is English homework :) Which is also the hardest homework of aaaaaaaaall. Not to mention that after that I've got this annoyingly large research project coming up next and out of all the topics we can research, I've got about zero knowledge on all of them. Sooo.... woot.
Too lazy to write more, well, actually, I would go on for a while but I don't want this to be uber long. I'm just gonna go!
Seeyou later whoever!
GELINA.
